Finally, Joe Frazier Dies

PHILADELPHIA – sad news for fans of heavyweight boxing. After fighting for a month against liver cancer, boxing legend Joe Frazier (67 years) eventually died in Philadelphia, United States. This was announced manager Leslie Wolff.

Frazier earned the nickname ‘Smokin Joe’ because he liked to smoke. Frazier himself was diagnosed with liver cancer and is fighting for his life on Sunday (6 / / 11 / 2011) ago.

Winning Numbers For Marquez, Pacman Defend Degree

Las Vegas – Manny Pacquiao successfully defended the belt welterweight champion WBO boxing bodies. In a match counter Juan Manuel Marquez, Pacquiao was forced to fight 12 rounds before finally winning on points.

In the fight that was held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Sunday (11/13/2011) noon CST, Pacquiao gets fierce resistance from Marquez who performed tactical. Although time to penetrate the defenses frustrated his opponent, Pacquiao finally declared winning numbers 114-114, 115-113 and 116-112.

He has to create new constituencies across social, class and age groupings for the party to support its existing base. Aggressive Rahul sounds poll bugle in Mayaland

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi kicked off his party’s poll campaign in Uttar Pradesh by launching an all-round attack on the state government. Addressing a public rally at Phulpur, his great grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru’s constituency, he criticised chief minister Mayawati for failing to maintain law and order, misusing central funds besides perpetrating atrocities on farmers.

In a clear departure from his suave persona, it was a belligerent Rahul on display at Phulpur. “UP is being ruled by the mafia,” he said, adding corruption was so high in UP that money was being demanded to lodge FIRs. (more…)
